For unsuccessful applicants, all written records of interviews, application forms, and reasons for non-appointment will be kept by Nova Education Trust for six months after the appointment of the successful candidate unless a longer period can be justified by the Head Teacher. For successful candidates, some elements of the written records may be retained in your personnel file, subject to standard retention periods, and records not required will be securely disposed of. Records will be treated as confidential and kept for no longer than necessary in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
