Stock Manager - Dairy/Filling production Department * internal Lush employees only*

The role

As a Stock Manager you will be dealing with inventory planning and accuracy. You will be responsible for the stock inventory  which includes planning usage for production plans, keeping an accurate system by monitoring stock movements physically and on QAD, scheduling call offs to keep stocks at optimum levels, organising staff support to cover daily checks and stock checks. You will also be expected to work closely with the controllable cost of goods in the department to ensure there is a complete overview of stock requirements which is manageable.  We currently have an inventory value of 400K with approx 450 raw materials to manage alongside all packaging requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside production managers and planning stock requirement for production
  • Keeping an accurate/live system
  • Scheduling stock call offs
  • Daily stock management
  • Planning and actioning stock check
  • Product set ups at launch
  • Monitoring and adjusting product set ups as required
  • Managing controllable cost of goods (waste, mix, method variance etc)
  • Supporting your team
  • Communicating stock updates with your team
  • Reporting
  • Actively problem solving and improving processes
  • Coordinating regular stockchecks

 
Skills and experience: 

  • Production department knowledge
  • Good Computer skills (QAD and excel)
  • Good English – written and spoken
  • Great communication skills
  • Solution focussed
  • Excellent organisational skills along with great time keeping
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Flexibility as will be expected to work different shifts at busy times
