The role
Join the Lush People Operations Team, where efficient processes that amplify the employee journey are paramount.
People Operations Generalists have a wide experience and knowledge of the whole employee journey and are experts in creating a great culture and environment that makes employees feel happy and proud to work at their organisation. Implementing and maintaining good people practices and systems.
Whilst this is a flexible role, there will be the opportunity to specialise in the following areas: Recruitment, L&D, Process Improvement, Wellbeing, Engagement, People Management, and Data Insights and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively creating new systems and programs to improve ways of working
- Focused on maximizing the value of employees
- Executes strategic decisions through innovative and collaborative processes
- Creating and contributing to great employee engagement tools
- Supporting The People Teams and all employees with their journey through the business
- As well as maintaining the day-to-day running of Lush you will be a key driver of innovation working towards making Lush the company we want it to be. Initiatives include: ED&I, business comms, policy and contract reviews, system support, innovative recruitment, and L&D
Skills and experience:
- Problem-solving and operational improvement/change management
- Managed people for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience in implementing Lush People policies and best practices
- Experience with Digital systems, including Google platforms, provide insights into individual people data
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, using proactive communication and coaching experience
- Experience dealing with confidential data and acting in line with GDPR
- Working with a remote team and ensuring communication is strong
- Committed to approaching all situations with a professional and objective mindset
- Have a good understanding of how to handle sensitive situations
- Responsible for personal development and finding new learning opportunities
- Great at making genuine connections, building trust through great listening skills, and providing transparency and clarity in processes and decisions
