SENDCo

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic, and committed SENDCo with a proven track record of rapidly and sustainably raising standards. 

A visit to the Academy, so you can meet the Principal and key Middle and Senior Leaders is warmly encouraged, to enable you to discuss the post in more detail.

The successful candidate will:

  • be a dynamic leader with a drive for rapidly improving standards;
  • have a track record of delivering clear impact; 
  • bring an unwavering commitment to promoting the highest standards of SEND teaching and learning across the Academy; 
  • be committed to raising standards for vulnerable young people across the Academy enabling them to secure positive progression routes;
  • work proactively with other leaders and multi-agencies to develop and implement effective Inclusion and SEND provision;
  • have the ability to engage, inspire and build excellent relationships with both students and staff;
  • be fully aligned to our vision and key drivers;
  • have a true growth mindset and solid work ethic;
  • have the knowledge and experience of the context in which Wath Academy operates;
  • have a strong set of leadership competencies which enable them to effectively challenge, hold to account and support the teams they lead to deliver impact.
