Hollybank Trust is a specialist social care and education provider based Mirfield in West Yorkshire providing a range of care and support services for children, young people, and adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

In addition to our 10 residential services we also have a dedicated enrichment programme which includes the ELMS day centre and the Bradbury Therapy Centre comprising of our Hydrotherapy Pool, Spa Pool, and Rebound Therapy facility and our school rated as outstanding by Ofsted.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Manager to provide leadership for our vibrant ELMS Day Service.

The Enrichment Manager will hold responsibility for the day to day operation of our ELMS day service a specialised day service for young people and adults living with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities. ELMS provides a person centred service to people from the local community as well as our own residential services making the Enrichment department a large and lively hub of social activity.

The successful person will lead our skilled and talented enrichment team working on our main site in Mirfield and supporting our satellite services in Holmfirth, Barnsley and South Kirkby. Previous experience of managing a day service for people with PMLD and complex physical disabilities is essential. Whilst not directly responsible for the Bradbury Centre this is a collaborative working partnership with our excellent in house therapy team.

Key aspects of this role:

  • To develop a holistic and person centred day service for residential and community service users in a variety of environments, creating opportunities for engagement and independence.
  • To ensure the smooth day to day operation of all aspects of the ELMS service including health and safety, customer care, and staff support.
  • To effectively lead and provide supervision to an integrated staff team.
  • To lead on business development and placements of adults into the enrichment service, ensuring high quality support, care and opportunities for a range of young people and adults with varying disabilities and needs.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and alongside internal and external professionals to develop enrichment provision.
