The Garibaldi School is a successful and popular 11-18 school which serves its local community well by providing a first rate education for all its students. We joined the Nova Education Trust as an academy from October 2017.

Results in 2017 were strong with 60% of students achieving 4+ including English and Maths and 98% of students at A level gaining a Grade A-E. Our Progress 8 score is validated at +0.31 placing us as the top school locally and 9th overall in Nottinghamshire.

We have created a safe environmentwhere students can feel comfortable, well supported and confident. Our philosophy is based on developing pride in our students for themselves, the school and their community. They are encouraged to have respect for each other and the staff that support them. Ultimately we expect them to aim high and achieve well.

This post would ideally suit someone who is keen to develop their practice and get a wider range of experience and is both motivated and dynamic. We expect you to have good subject knowledge and a passion for Music. You will be hard working, enthusiastic and want students to love Music. You will share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves to the best of their ability.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and caring learning community. You will develop as a Music teacher and help make a difference to the lives of young people.

We look forward to hearing from you. If you’d like to find out more visit our website www.garibaldi.org.uk or contact Tracey Stocks on 01623 464220.
