Internship /Radio Unit

The EBU Radio Unit secures, develops and maintains know-how and expertise in running a contemporary radio channel and producing and acquiring the relevant content. It facilitates networking and the exchange of experience, advises and assists radio organizations in ensuring their sustainable presence as public service broadcasters, procures, produces and provides high-quality, cost-efficient coproduced or jointly acquired content and enables and encourages cross-border projects and financing of radio programmes.

The EBU Radio Unit is looking for an intern for 6 months.

The intern will work closely with the Head of the Radio unit:
- to provide logistical and data support to Radio Unit
- to research and present business information for the Head of Radio

 

Data support 

Ensuring that members can access up-to-date information and data concerning activities

  • Creating events and progressively adding details in the EBU Workspace
  • Maintaining the events calendar 
  • Ensuring the radio events are appropriately represented on the EBU webpage
  • Making sure that presentations are available online make available after meeting)
  • Updating the EBU Directory of International Relations contacts
  • Entering new and changed data to ensure mailing lists reflect organisations

 

Logistical Support

This concerns the organisation of seminars and venues, in collaboration with the Head of Radio

  • Assist with details of agenda, contacting speakers, ensuring presentation format
  • Managing technical aspects of meeting, presentations and video/audio examples
  • Liaise with venue to ensure working environment
  • Preparing meeting documents (agenda, participants list, other items)

 

Research

Ensuring that the Head of Radio is provided with appropriate research 

  • Within defined parameters, undertake research work for presentations and other communications
  • Access radio sector information sources, finding data to support the work of the Radio Unit
  • Prioritise and present findings
