Teaching Assistant

Contract type: part time/ permanent

32.5 hours per week term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and excellent Early Years Teaching Assistant, to work in our outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage.

Manor Way Primary Academy is situated in Brier Mill Road, Halesowen. We are a one form entry primary school with an age range of 3 -11 and currently have 225 pupils on role. Manor Way Primary Academy is one of a number of schools in the Windsor Academy Trust.  We are on an exciting journey to continue to improve outcomes for our children. Staff here are friendly, committed and passionate about learning. Our children are fantastic.

Your role will include: in-class support, leading groups, interventions, 1:1 support, first aid and general welfare.

You will require a good knowledge of current early years practice, including phonics, have a positive approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of an effective team.

You will hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification have good communication skills and excellent literacy and numeracy skills as well as strong ICT skills.

Salary:  Level 2 Teaching Assistant
