The Young Patrons’ Circle is one of two successful V&A patrons’ schemes, generating vital unrestricted funds for the museum each year. Launched in 2016, the programme has grown to attract 150+ high-profile international donors between the ages of 20-40 who, in return for their support, receive exclusive benefits including access to a busy events programme. Events range from behind-the scenes tours and close-up viewings of objects with curators, to studio trips and visits to private homes and collections. An annual party and international trip are also part of the programme.

Main Purpose of Job

The Senior Officer is responsible for the administration of the Young Patrons’ Circle. The position involves the efficient delivery of all aspects of the programme: working with the Senior Manager to create an inspiring programme of events and ensuring their faultless logistical delivery; producing compelling communications, including a monthly newsletter; liaising directly with donors and prospective members, including responding to all enquiries to the YPC inbox; maximising revenue for the Young Patrons’ Circle by attracting new patrons and retaining current patrons. The post holder will work closely with, and be line managed by, the Senior Manager.

Closing date for all applications is Thursday 5 January at 23:59.
