Ashwood Spencer Academy are looking to recruit a dynamic and committed ‘extended schools achievement leader and sports coach’ who can inspire learning through physical activity, well-being and mindfulness and fully commit to our school ethos.

The successful candidates will be part of a hard working friendly team, and will be working with children who are well behaved and sociable.

  • Have a sense of humour
  • Have a ‘whatever it takes attitude’ to remove barriers to participation in sports
  • Promote positive mental health and well-being
  • Role model sportsmanship and encourage a love for sports
  • Good communicator and can use your own initiative
  • Have well developed, positive behaviour management skills
  • Patient, inspiring, caring and sensitive towards the needs of vulnerable children
