Sommelier at The Fat Duck Restaurant Bray

We are looking for an experience somemlier to join our world-class establishment at The Fat Duck. Experienced, enthusiastic and service oriented personalities that can work as part of an international team. As a sommelier you will offer wine knowledge to our guests; guiding and advising them where necessary.

Heston Blumenthal, a self-taught chef, has been changing the culinary landscape in his quest for perfection for the past two decades. Heston Blumenthal's mantra, Question Everything, lies at the core of the restaurant's values.

Experience

We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:

  • Enthusiastic work ethic with integrity
  • Professional appearance with excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience as a sommelier with a desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Extensive knowledge of different wines

The Fat Duck Experience is less of a story and more a journey; one that begins the moment our guests have booked their seat. It is based on Heston Blumenthal's favourite nostalgic moments: full of adventure, curiosity, discovery and playfulness. The excitement of anticipation and going on holiday. The menu is based on an itinerary of activities, travelling around an imaginary island spanning a day, from morning to night, breakfast to dreaming, and in between, a range of activities from rock pooling to getting an ice cream.
