We currently have a vacancy for a Seasonal First Aid Officer who will provide first aid to both visitors and staff across our large and busy site. The role involves working outside for most of the day in all weathers, walking around the site on patrols and when responding to emergencies, and carrying emergency first aid kits and equipment with you at all times.

The ideal candidates will:

• Have experience in administering first aid and will preferably have a current approved First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent
• Have good basic first aid knowledge
• Have excellent customer care skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to keep calm and make decisions in a pressured situation
• Be able to prioritise, plan and organise day to day tasks to ensure efficient running of the first aid service

Current certificates in Automated External Defibrillation and Medical Gas, experience or working within a large customer focused business and an awareness of Health and Safety would also be desirable.

The rate of pay for this role is £7.60 per hour. Hours will be a minimum of 6.5 hours per week although this will vary according to the time of the year and could increase to 37.5 hours per week at our busiest times. You will work between 1 and 5 days out of 7 which will include weekend and Bank Holiday working.
