THE ROLE The Marketing Communications Manager is required to develop the Woodland Trust merchandise range, managing the entire product life cycle. They will be involved in integrated planning, development, and management of marketing activity for relevant audiences. Using insight, audience motivations and evaluation to retain our existing customers and bring in new, and increase our overall income for the products. Our supporters are vitally important to the Trust and as such this role will ensure we generate income and increase profits from product sales, contributing to our supporter recruitment, retention, and overall income targets.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract on a hybrid basis working between home and our Grantham office.
THE CANDIDATE You will be a proven team player, with the ability to motivate and inspire a positive response to the merchandise range and personal carbon offer across the Trust. You’ll have demonstrated experience and/or a qualification in marketing communications with previous experience of working within an agency or organisation. Your experience will ideally include integrated customer focused multichannel marketing – including direct, digital, and social. You’ll have a working knowledge of the buying process, stock management, supplier selection and management alongside excellent organisational skills and rigorous attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task proficiently.
