TEACHER OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY, HOSPITALITY AND CATERING

Full Time or 0.8 FTE will be considered

Heanor Gate Science College are looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic professional who combines excellent organisational and teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.   We are a ‘good’ school (Ofsted March 2017) with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher and there will be opportunities to teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Hospitality and Catering at Key Stage 4. This is the opportunity to work within a strong Design Technology and Visual Arts faculty who have a track record of excellent external examination results. The school is committed to the continued development of creative subjects and continually invests time and resources to ensure our students are afforded the best opportunities.

We offer a supportive learning and working environment, allowing all students to make good progress and teachers to continuously develop.  There is a comprehensive support package for all teachers who join the school, ensuring they are fully integrated to the ethos of the school and the trust.

This position is suitable for NQTs or experienced teachers.
