Job purpose:
Busy Bees Group has over 370 nurseries around the UK, three offices and 200 mobile users. The role has full responsibility for analysing, interrogating and interpreting large, complex, data sets from disparate sources, providing analysis and insight to enable informed decision making across the business, increase understanding of our audiences and help optimise marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate needs to be a bright, energetic, analytical self-starter with a passion for bringing data together to answer key business questions, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, who wants the broad opportunities provided by a global business, combined with the camaraderie of a close-knit team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translating numbers into plain English
- Keen to learn the childcare industry, hoping to have a comprehensive understanding of wider market trends and government incentives Work with internal marketing, external agencies and business wide stakeholders to define their audience reporting requirements
- Provide customer and campaign analysis reporting to optimise and shape marketing and comms channels strategy
- Manage a successful and meaningful annual fee increase programme (data led)
- Develop (self-service) reports and dashboards to enable marketing and other internal business stakeholders to increase understanding of their audience and enable informed decision making
- Own, produce and circulate monthly occupancy and commercial marketing data KPI’s reporting
- Undertake customer market penetration and gap analysis projects
- Manage own workload to ensure all reporting and analysis requests are delivered accurately and on time to reflect business requirements
- Streamline existing reporting suite and advise on new, amendments and improvements
- Undertake data manipulation which includes deduping, cleaning and merging projects
- Ensure all reports and definitions are documented and distributed where necessary
Minimum Requirements and skills required
- Bachelor’s degree (min 2:1 or equivalent) ideally business related but will consider all degrees
- The ability to analyse, model and interpret data
- Ability to interpret this data and present it in a user friendly way (graphs, trends, charts etc)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- A methodical and logical approach
- The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
- Excellent excel skills
- Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication
- Proactive and driven approach to work and creating success
- Ability to working in a team of diverse individuals to meet strategic objectives
- Exceptional presentation skills, both delivering and producing
- Be able to build strong working relationships and rapport with people of all levels
- Good organisation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and willingness to ask for help when needed
