Security Officer - College Environment - Average 50 hours - DAYS

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer for the educational sector, who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

INFORMATION

  • Position: Security Officer
  • Location: Barking, Essex
  • Pay Rate: £8.55 per hour
  • Hours: Average 45 - 60 hours per week
  • Shifts: Days, 12 hour shifts, either 07:00-1900 OR 0800-1800

Job Role / Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
  • Security Experience is required – ideally in the educational sector
  • Excellent communication both written & verbal & customer service at all times
  • Must have good spoken English as communicating via site radio to both Security staff and to the client is a major part of the job.
  • Able to patrol internally and externally
  • Opening and locking up the building
  • This role includes access control, checking ID cards, staff, student & visitor liaison, bag searches, incident reports, log entries, dealing with hostile, aggressive and vulnerable persons (some with learning difficulties).
  • Clear criminal check

  • Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
