Event Advisor - Private Hires 

48 hours / 12 weeks contract

Purpose of the role

Event Advisors - Private Hires will work across the ICA’s Private and Corporate Hires events. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service and hospitality and being proactive to the needs of our guests and clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining a well presented, welcoming and safe environment throughout all spaces. As the ICA welcome’s many high-profile clients, experience in working professionally with luxury brands and prominent talent are beneficial in this role. 

Your role will include a wide range of responsibilities that may vary depending on the day or the shift you are working. You must have weekend and evening availability for this role.  

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  • Follow the ICA Private Hire teams protocols, policies, and high presentation standards. 

  • Maintain a welcoming environment and helpful attitude towards all guests and clients. 

  • Reception duties for private events including greeting guests, overseeing guestlists, managing queries and maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times. 

  • Setting up and overseeing cloakrooms for events. Ensuring all property is safe and the space is well managed and presented. 

  • Work alongside the ICA’s Private Hires teams to support other event activity as needed. 

  • Ensuring you are up to date on all safety, fire and security protocols, escalating any incidents the Operations & Visitor Services Managers. 

  • Problem-solve client and guest questions.   

  • Broadly responsible for the presentation of hire spaces in the venue, by ensuring a clean, tidy and professional environment.  

  • Provide additional support as needed for guests with special access requirements. 

  • Maintain records of and give information about items of lost property. 

  • Ensure that General Data Protection Regulation requirements are upheld and to follow procedures in line with the Regulation including strictly following our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Handbook.  

  • Any other duties requested by the ICA Operations Team or ICA Private Hires Team (Bistrotheque).
