Our challenge is to help them off the streets quickly and, through our assessment hubs, help them find alternative accommodation so they don’t have to sleep out for a second night.

The role of a Hub Worker is to jointly manage the safe day to day running of the project with other members of the team and to provide basic support and advice to clients. You will also be the first point of contact for clients and visitors and coordinating the Health and Safety within the service.

To be successful, you will have personal experience of homelessness or a sound understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.  You will also have some experience of dealing directly with the public and/or clients or customers in a busy service environment.  Some experience of managing complex and difficult situations, in relation to people and basic strategies to deal with challenging behaviour is also required.
