Apprentice Administrator Ref: 3012

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Fixed term contract: Two years

Salary: Year 1 £7,040, Year 2 National Minimum Wage for age

Location: Thornes Park, Wakefield

This apprenticeship will be an excellent start for someone looking to gain a grounding in professional administration support work. The skills and experience acquired are applicable to a range of administrative support roles in other sectors.

The post holder will provide administrative support within the Apprenticeship and Commercial Training team.

The administration team monitor the progression of learners throughout their qualification. Learner files are created and maintained and data inputted onto the college systems is done so accurately and timely to meet internal and external deadlines. Support is provided to assessors and tutors to ensure learner data is obtained and recorded accurately.

As a member of this team, you will follow a development programme which will give you broad range of experience over the period of your apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Administrator, you should have:

  • GCSE grade A* - C in English and Maths or the equivalent
  • A willingness to undertake the apprenticeship framework/training
