Cartrefi was established as a not-for-profit charity in 1989 by a group of parents and activists.?We mainly support people with learning disabilities in Wales.? The company currently employs 1200 employees, 650 people we support and 1000s of friends, family and supporters. Job Responsibilities:

 The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service.  Your focus will be on promoting independence for the people we support and enabling them in an innovative, person-centred and flexible way.  

You will provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to give quality, person centred support. You will build positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action to deliver an excellent service. 

 

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Excellent people skills 

  • Be reliable and committed  

  • Be able to communicate professionally and empathetically? 

  • Be able to work under pressure 

  • Be able to work well as a member of a growing team 

  • Sleep ins, evening and weekend work may be required.  

  • You will be required to be a car driver and prepared to travel across the region
