Are you an experienced Early Years Educator looking for a role working with babies?

Do you hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning & Development, or equivalent?

Do you have a positive approach to team-working and a hands-on approach to your work?

Queens Park Community Nursery admits children aged 6 months to 5 years and is situated in the heart of the community. The setting is privileged to have access to a large outdoor space and is growing in popularity.  Ofsted has rated the nursery as ‘good’ and we have exciting plans on how we will achieve ‘Outstanding’ at the next inspection. There is a diverse population accessing the nursery which adds to the challenge and excitement of what we believe in as a Charity; that every child has the right to the best possible start in life regardless of background, culture or religion.

Due to an internal promotion Queens Park Community Nursery is looking for a full-time Early Years Educator for the Baby Room. You will be at least level 2 qualified with experience of working with the EYFS and children up to the age of 5 - babies in particular. You will need a positive approach to team working, a ‘hands-on, can-do’ attitude, and an ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults. A competent use of spoken and written English is essential in order to effectively communicate with children, parents, colleagues, and other professionals, and to be able to produce high quality observations for the assessment of children’s development.

You will be well supported by the nursery team who will provide you with a safe and secure environment to work in. We offer family friendly policies, including paid family days, a strong commitment to your continuing professional development, and the opportunity for you to implement your own ideas. If this sounds like a breath of fresh air then please apply!
