The V&A’s Marketing Department is responsible for building the V&A brand and nurturing audience relationships across the UK and globally. With a fully integrated approach to all aspects of marketing, insight and audience engagement, the team leads the V&A’s high-profile cross-channel marketing campaigns and partnerships, as well as CRM, visitor acquisition and retention for the V&A’s family of sites.
Main Purpose of Job
This role leads a team of 5 to drive the V&A’s approach to brand strategy and advertising, overseeing marketing and communications projects for V&A Masterbrand, exhibitions and other aspects of the public programme at V&A South Kensington. Working collaboratively across the Audience division and beyond, this role is key to the development of integrated multi-channel thinking, shaping creative direction, media planning and buying, and developing audiences and partnerships that drive reach, reputation and revenue for the V&A.
During the period of this maternity cover contract, the post-holder will lead the team to deliver campaigns for our upcoming programme at V&A South Kensington, including Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto, Donatello: Sculpting the Renaissance and DIVA, as well as the launch of Young V&A in Bethnal Green and the next iteration of the V&A Brand Campaign.
