Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Working hours: 37 hours per week

Who are we?

Hollybank Trust provides teaching, residential care, plus a range of therapies and enrichment activities for children, young people and adults with profound and multiple disabilities. We are there for parents and families right from their child’s first diagnosis, throughout their life.

The needs of our children, young people and adults lie at the heart of everything we do and that’s why we are in the middle of an ambitious improvement strategy, working closely with all areas of the Trust to implement new digital solutions.

What will you be doing?

The Digital Support Analyst will work in an Agile way, supporting the IT projects, working with the key stakeholders to deliver innovative and efficient ways of working. Duties include:

  • Support, maintain and configure Jira, Confluence and any related plug-ins and integrations that underpin the software development, delivery and service desk functions, providing compliance, governance and ITIL alignment.
  • Examine existing flows of data and design functional specifications, and test plans for new systems that meet departmental needs and provide direction to the project team.
  • Provide advice and assistance in the procurement, provision, delivery, installation, maintenance and use of IT systems and their environments.
  • To develop and maintain system documentation and procedures that includes application support procedures, quality assurance, design, system and technical configuration, user training for new systems and system development.
  • Understand data flows across systems, why the data is important, where the data is going, and what it needs to integrate with, by managing the configuration and implementation of API’s and other integration methods.
  • Apply project management skills including managing, coaching and supporting all resources assigned to the IT project to be able to achieve the best results.

What do you need?

  • A strong technical background with a recognised IT qualification
  • Relevant application/software support experience.
  • Able to translate complex technical ideas to a range of stakeholders including non-technical colleagues.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Visual Basic
  • Be passionate about front end development and be adept at utilising technology to implement changes.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, preferably with SQL query writing.
  • Experience of BI reporting tools desirable.
  • Previous experience developing SharePoint online a significant advantage
  • Motivated and enthusiastic with the resilience and drive to achieve our digital vision.
  • A demonstrated process orientated approach
  • Effective communicator, both formally and informally, with the ability to articulate complex IT solutions so they are understood
