Sacro is a social justice charity working to improve people’s lives and make positive change in justice, public protection, community safety, social care, and housing. We work all over Scotland and deliver services to vulnerable people commissioned by local authorities or funded by grants.

We have a business head and a social heart, and we want our work to be as efficient and effective as possible for the people we work with and for our partners and commissioners.

We are looking for an experienced leader to support our teams in business development, project and performance management. You will also project manage developments, as part of our Leadership Team.

You should have a proven track record in business development and project management with excellent analytical skills and the ability to present a business case and performance information. You should be a forward thinker and understand the third sector environment.

Your team will provide leadership on bidding for tenders and applying for funds, so experience in these areas would be very valuable. Some knowledge of the justice and social care sectors would be an advantage but having the right values is what comes first for us.

This is a crucial role in support of our whole organisation and as a leader and we look forward to hearing from you.

This is a full-time post and can be based at any of our hub offices – Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Kirkcaldy but is an approved hybrid working post.

We offer some great benefits, including family friendly policies, flexible and hybrid working and work-life balance. We also have generous annual leave entitlement, employee wellbeing scheme, cycle to work scheme, pension scheme and death in service, enhanced company sick pay. We will offer learning and development, progression and qualifications with the opportunity for growth and development.

We welcome applications from individuals who share Sacro’s aims and values and want to engage with those we support to help them move on to a more secure, settled and fulfilling life and value diversity from all sections of the community.
