Midday Supervisor

Salary: Scale 1 (£22,183 to £22,737) pro rota, per annum

Hours: Permanent, term time only, 10 hours a week

Location: Toot Hill School

Toot Hill School has an opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor.

Your main responsibilities within this role will be:

  • Supervision of dining and / or outdoor areas.
  • Be responsible for allocated year group areas and students during lunchtimes.
  • Oversee and control queues and areas where students wait or queue for their meal.
  • Maintain a good standard of behaviour throughout the lunch period.
  • Maintain vigilance at all times to support the safeguarding of children and always keep the health, safety and welfare of student in mind.
  • Behave in a manner which maintains professional boundaries, respect and courtesy.
  • Be assertive in ensuring that students behave safely and considerately at all times.
  • Be prepared to train as a first aider and of the fire evacuation procedures.
  • Clear spillages quickly and clean as necessary.
  • See that dining and / or outdoor areas are left clean and tidy.
  • To report any causes for concern relating to the welfare and safety or children to the designated person.
