Title:   Examination Invigilator

The main purpose of the role is to ensure proper conduct of exams in accordance with the guidelines of each exam board, in addition to NOVA Trust and Nottingham University Samworth Academy’s policies and procedures.

You will support the Exams Officer with the day-to-day operation of the examination processes. This may include:

• Assisting with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures
• Assisting candidates prior to the start of the examination by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues
• Closely following and enforcing exam procedures and regulations to uphold the integrity of the examination
• Remaining vigilant during examinations, dealing with queries raised by candidates and reporting any examination irregularities to the Exams Officer
• Collecting exam scripts at the end of the exam and returning them in numerical order to the Exams Officer
