You are invited to apply for the post of Museum Public Events Planner in the Events team.  The post holder will be reporting to the Event Manager.

The post holder would be responsible for the planning, organisation and delivering annual calendar, one day festivals and museum public events such as World Oceans day and Diwali across all of Royal Museum Greenwich's venues. This includes leading on the technical aspects of on-the-day delivery, producing and communicating schedules for each event and manage event costs. You will be expected to communicate with various stakeholders, especially vital departments (depending on the event) such as IT, Estates & Facilities and Visitor Experience. You must have proven experience in planning and delivering public events, have excellent customer service skills, good commercial awareness and be confident in communicating with various stakeholders. The full person specification can be found in the attached document.

The post holder will be required to work 36 hours per week. These hours are typically 9-5pm Monday to Friday, but with the nature of the work, flexibility will be required to work out of hours with time off in leu, including weekends.
