English Tutor
£25 per hour (QTS)
£18 per hour (unqualified)

Part time hours detailed below

Required for October 2018 to 31 July 2019

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic English Tutor. 

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to join our academy.  You will be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies required to inspire and motivate students.  Above all, you must have a passion for your subject and be able to embed an enjoyment in your lessons. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Be an excellent practitioner
  • Have the knowledge and experience, or ambition to teach key stage 4 students
  • Have the knowledge and experience, or ambition to teach the AQA English Language and Literature scheme
  • Have the knowledge and experience, or ambition to support the subject leader
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of student achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved. 

Applicants would be expected to share the Trust’s high aspirations and expectations for pupils and staff and have demonstrable evidence of driving teaching and learning outcomes in the secondary phase.

Tuesday

13.55-15.55

Wednesday

12.05-14.35

Thursday

12.25-14.55

Friday

13.55-15.55

There is the possibility of more hours as the academic year progresses.
