Role: Senior Support Worker
Location: Mirfield (WF14 0DQ)
Salary: £11.56/hr (plus enhanced rates for overtime and bank holidays)
Hours: 37.5hrs per week

We are Hollybank, a school and residential care provider based in West Yorkshire. We provide a range of care and support services for children, young people, and adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and complex needs.

Our children's services offer full-time residential care, as well as short breaks and emergency placements, where possible. We’re overseen by Ofsted and are registered for children and young people, aged 0-19 years. All our children have complex physical disabilities and associated communication, sensory and learning difficulties and our dedicated staff team is specially trained to support a range of complex medical conditions.

We can look after children and young people that need around the clock support and our services include social care, continued educational and personal development, medical intervention, physiotherapy, speech & language therapy, and occupational therapies input. These are all integrated into a 24-hour interdisciplinary plan of care.

As a Senior Support Worker your day to day duties will include:

  • Supervising our dedicated team of Support Workers
  • Promoting person-centred, high quality care
  • Conducting supervisions and one to ones with staff
  • Auditing, updating, and reviewing documentation
  • Administering and auditing medication(s)
