A permanent position as a Curator for the Chinese collection is available in the Asian Department. The Museum is looking for a scholar with relevant expertise, ideally in the field of Chinese ceramics, and the willingness and ability to communicate that knowledge to a wide audience. We expect the successful candidate to have a degree or post-graduate qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field, a good working knowledge of modern and classical Chinese, and experience of working in a museum.
