This role is for a fixed term of 6 months.
We are seeking a Documentation Officer to support the users of the Collections Management System (CMS) by acting as a point of contact on the CMS Helpdesk, delivering and maintaining the core CMS training course, providing advice and direct support to colleagues across the museum, and by communicating issues to the rest of the team for resolution.
This role will support the core day to day work of the CMD team, and will include assistance with the audit and spot check programme and the review of acquisition files to ensure the correct documentation is in place. The post-holder will maintain tools to support these tasks and will assist with producing regular reports for senior management.
