We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised, and reliable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work as a science technician at Hethersett Academy. If you are enthusiastic about science and enjoy inspiring others, this is a wonderful opportunity to use your training/experience and develop your skills within a friendly team.
As well as providing general laboratory support to the science department, you will assist in practical science lessons and must therefore be able to relate well to both staff and pupils. You will be well-organised and a team player with the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for managing routine safety and maintenance checks. The role involves working with a wide range of equipment, materials and resources so a good knowledge of health and safety and CLEAPSS is essential.
Relevant experience within a secondary school setting is desirable although appropriate training will be provided. If you think that you have the skills and attributes for this exciting role we would be pleased to hear from you.
