Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the Venue Administrator in the day to day running of the out of hours The Venue provision including staff rotas and time sheets;
- Continually provide an excellent front of house customer service including general and specific information relating to the facilities and services The Venue provide;
- Support the Venue Administrator as a point of contact for enquiries made by telephone, face to face contact and email;
- Positively develop and promote recreational opportunities to our students, staff and the wider community in a proactive and friendly manner;
- Accurately operate the computerised booking system;
- Accepting, recording and processing payments received in accordance with Nova policies and procedures;
- Effectively administer the pricing structures and client contracts;
- Timely and efficiently set up and dismantling of equipment relating to booking activities;
- Set and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times around the Academy;
- Providing First Aid when required and ensure the reporting of incidents and near incidents is carried out in accordance with Nova policies;
- Act in accordance with Nova’s normal operating procedures, risk assessments, emergency action plans and other procedures and policies;
- Maintain customer confidence and service standards by ensuring prompt responses to enquiries and resolution of problems;
- Greet customers on arrival, providing information relevant to their activity and directing them as appropriate;
- Check and verifying floats and monies stored on site and ensuring security and traceability of cash takings;
- Assist with the delivery of after school events - for example parents evenings, awards evenings, offering support to students and the wider community where required.
2 In common with other members of the academy’s support staff, the post-holder will also be
expected:
- to liaise with parents and the wider community, receive and respond to telephone enquiries and to receive visitors as required;
- to attend support team, staff and other meetings as required;
- to work actively to secure continuing development through participating in the academy's training programme;
- to undertake other duties as may reasonably be required.
