Gower College Swansea is currently looking to appoint a casual Customer Service Assistant to work on all campuses as and when required.  Based primarily at the reception areas, the key focus will be to act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, both face to face and over the telephone, delivering excellent customer service and promoting Gower College Swansea.

You will be responsible for dealing with queries from staff, students, businesses and the general public both through face to face and over the telephone.  You will also undertake routine administrative duties as required such as filing, photocopying and managing incoming and outgoing mail.

You will have experience of working in a reception/customer service environment and hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent and GCSE Maths and English qualifications (Grade A-C). 

Speaking and listening Welsh language skills at level 2 are essential for this post, with a focus on customer service skills. We will provide training and support in Welsh Language skills.  You will be prepared to work flexibly where required.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
