Maths Standards Leader (Trust wide)

Permanent, Full Time

Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR (£8291)

Starting: January 2022

Norwich, with regular work across Norfolk and north Suffolk

About us

Inspiration Trust is at an exciting point in its development. We have twice ranked in the country’s top comprehensive secondary schools group and the trust is recognised nationally for its curriculum development work. We have one of the country's first maths and science specialist sixth forms and the Angles Maths Hub (previously, Norfolk and Suffolk) is based in our trust. This role is key to the long term vision for mathematics in the trust.

The role

The successful candidate will be integral to our maths strategy, as part of a wider maths team. A substantial part of the role will include teaching and leading high-quality intervention and revision. The successful candidate will understand that high impact teaching is informed by effective curriculum design. We are seeking a leader who can not only deliver this in their own classroom, but who can lead on this across the Trust - coaching and supporting other teachers and also developing curriculum resources.

There will be opportunities to play a part in our school-based Initial Teacher Training programme, training the classroom leaders of the future, and to contribute to our CPD programmes and longer term curriculum development work, making this a very exciting role.

The salary for this role is MPS/UPS plus TLR (£8291)

Benefits include:

  • Extensive CPD opportunities including role relevant National Professional Qualification
  • A network of senior leaders and principals with a wealth of expertise
  • Wide opportunities for leadership progression
  • Support from our Director of Maths
