Six Months fixed-term contract

P/T 24 hrs per week - (4hrs per day, 6 days per week)

Managed by St Mungo’s on behalf of the Greater London Authority, the No Second Night Out (NSNO) scheme focuses on helping people who are new to rough sleeping on the streets of London. Our challenge is to help them off the streets quickly and through our assessment hubs, help them find alternative accommodation so that they do not have to sleep out for a second night.

The purpose of the role is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our clients to live in, so that we can provide them with an environment which supports their recovery.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have good working knowledge of Health and Safety with regards to cleaning and experience in using industrial cleaning equipment. You will also have the ability to work on your own and effective communication skills; in order to interact with colleagues, managers and clients. Another requirement is the ability to understand the needs of residents and to cope with those displaying challenging behaviour.
