The Role:

We currently have a vacancy for a Food & Beverage Coordinator.  The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do attitude and will effectively support the Food and Beverage management team on a daily basis.  This will include deputising in the absence of the Supervisor, motivating and mentoring the teams, delivering excellent customer service and maximising sales.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the team by acting as a role model and championing great customer service.
  • Be confident in training and developing our teams, as you will play a lead role in this process.
  • Have previous experience of cash handling, stock management and completing compliance documentation.
  • Have recent experience in basic food preparation.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as you will be working with people all day every day, liaising with the public, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Be computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes.

Hours of work are 40 per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and Bank Holidays.  The salary for this role is £18,384.92 per annum and in addition we offer a range of amazing benefits which can be found at https://www.chesterzoo.org/footer/careers/working-at-chester-zoo.
