Judged as ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection (Feb 2018), Long Field Academy is an 11-16 provider located in the rural market town of Melton Mowbray, just 17 miles from both Nottingham and Leicester. 

 

IT Onsite Engineer (Level 2)

Long Field Academy, Melton Mowbray

NJC 15-19 £22,911 - £24,799

Full Time, 52 weeks per year

 

We wish to appoint an experienced IT Engineer to work as an integral part of the IT support team to ensure that tasks relating to all aspects of IT in the Academy are carried out efficiently. You will be required to provide onsite 1st and 2nd Line Support to Academy staff and students.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school which has a long tradition of being at the forefront in its use of digital technologies.  The successful candidate will be a well organised, proactive and positive person, who is approachable with a calm professional manner. You need to be able to communicate effectively with both pupils and staff.

 

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for the running of the IT support desk and any technical issues which arise. Applicants should be enthusiastic, organised and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a dynamic team.
