Hucknall Flying High Academy are looking to appoint an experienced Admin Assistant who will work as part of a team to provide high quality administrative support for a varied range of clerical and financial tasks.This position will be the first point of contact for all pupil related enquiries and daily procedures, therefore communication skills, professional presentation and a friendly, confident and welcoming nature are essential qualities for this position.

This is a part-time role working 20 hours a week Monday to Friday from 9am-1pm on a term time only basis. Extra hours will be available to cover during busy periods and when other members of the team are out of the office.

Hucknall Flying High Academy, is part of The Flying High Partnership which consists of two distinct parts: Flying High Trust and Flying High Futures. Flying High Trust is a Multi Academy Trust of  over 30 primary schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham City. Our Flying High family work hard to deliver the best possible opportunities to our children. Through this partnership we are proud of our achievements and are recognised as one of the highest performing Multi Academy Trusts (MAT) in the country. Flying High Futures provides professional learning internally for staff across the Trust, and externally through Department for Education national programmes. Your core duties will be: 

  • To process daily dinner registers, fire lists and attendance checks in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Completion of child absence requests paperwork/processes as required.
  • Completion of pupil attendance reports as required for accurate reporting to senior leaders and reporting to DfE of daily attendance data.
  • Supporting the processing of school trips, undertaking letters, making bookings and collation of monies due.
  • To assist in the dining hall at lunchtime as part of the midday team when required.
