Your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for supplier evaluation, develop and lead RFQ process for multiple commodities within direct & indirect categories
- Define appropriate category strategy incorporating business needs and priorities (“as is" vs "to be").
- Promote category strategies to internal stakeholders. Update as required in line with business needs.
- Conduct proactive market analysis and influencing factors within given category of spend articulate impact (new technology, risks, mergers etc).
- Track and monitor market trends for key raw materials.
