Job Title:   Learning and Careers Support Coordinator

Hours:       37 per week, 40 weeks per year

Salary:       £22,241 - £23,020 per annum

Location:   Cambridge campus (Milton)

This is an exciting and challenging role leading our LRC activities at the Cambridge campus and providing high quality support to students to help them to develop their wider digital and academic skills to achieve their learning goals.  As well as working with small groups and on a one to one basis, you will work with learners and colleagues alike to identify resource needs.

This role also supports students with their career aspirations, providing advice and guidance, and working with colleagues across the college to identify support available to students.

This role is actively involved in the planning and management of enrichment activities at the Cambridge campus- whether campus specific or as part of college wide initiatives, such as Health and Wellbeing, EDI, study skills and more.  These invaluable events provide our students with a wide range of information, resources and support to develop not only their academic skills, but also their softer skills to prepare them for the next step in their career - whether in study or in the workplace.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Learning Resources team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.  We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for curriculum staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme.  CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential counselling helpline as well as comprehensive training and development.
