The Furniture, Textiles and Fashion Department is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated curator to fill an 18-month contract as our first curator of African and African diaspora fashion. This post has been created to contribute to our Fashion Gallery redevelopment and to improve our holdings in this area. This is an exceptional opportunity to help build the collection of work by African designers and designers of African heritage. You will have expertise in one or more aspects of this subject area in the context of a broad understanding of fashion history. You will be a practically minded individual who can undertake a broad range of curatorial work.

Long-listed applicants will be invited to undertake a short video submission prior to short-listed candidates being selected for a personal interview.
