Housing Management Assistant x2 – Grange Road and Great Guildford Street

£19,597 - £20,893 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Grange Road TA is a temporary accommodation service for single men and women, many of whom have a variety of support needs including mental health and substance use. Great Guildford Street is a 51 bed hostel for single men and women with medium to high support needs that include needs relating to mental health and substance use. Each service is looking to recruit a Housing Management Assistant on a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent basis to support the day-to-day running of the project. The roles are shift based working on a rota that would include some evenings and weekends.

The post-holder will provide first contact, reception and basic housing management to our clients. You'll be responsible for controlling access to the building, dealing with emergencies, clearing and preparing rooms, carrying out Health & Safety checks and reporting on any events or concerns.

To be successful in this post, you'll need to have a basic level of numeracy and literacy to be able to carry out administrative duties. An understanding of the issues that affect our clients and ability to display initiative in identifying actions required and taking appropriate measures are essential for the successful post-holder. You will also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality and be able to adapt your approach, to suit a variety of situations, individuals and groups.
