Groupwork Practitioner - Haringey Recovery Service

£26,025 - £29,519 per annum

37.5 hours per week

The Haringey Recovery Service is a partnership service involving St Mungo's and Haringey Advisory Group on Alcohol (HAGA). Set up in 2014, it provides recovery services for adults in Haringey. These include assessment and keyworking, recovery planning, mutual aid and peer support, group work, families, friends and carers inclusion. In addition the service runs a Recovery Academy with sessions designed and delivered by people in recovery with a range of courses covering creativity, health and well-being.

The Groupwork Practitioner will work on four developmental areas and deliver group work programmes on service-user involvement, the Recovery Academy, ETE and volunteer management both at Haringey Recovery Service and across Haringey Drug Alcohol and Recovery Partnership services. The post holder will offer effective support to service users proactively working to reduce stigma, raise awareness and make recovery visible in the community.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to reflect, have attention to detail, be open to learning, work well within a team and be able to lead on groups, events and projects.

In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, staff discounts scheme and flexible working to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.
