We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, passionate, motivated, and dynamic individuals as Exam Invigilators to join our existing team. Please see the attached job pack for more information on the role, the school, and the Trust.

This is a casual role and candidates should be available throughout the year to supervise students during their exams.  Due to conflict with exam dates, this post would be unsuitable for applications undertaking the same work in other schools.  You will share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility for engendering a culture of success and a belief that all students can achieve.

This is a great opportunity for you to join a forward-thinking school.  Opportunities are provided for you to develop and make a difference to the lives of young people. The Nottingham University Samworth Academy is part of the Nova Education Trust.  We work in collaboration with the ‘Trust’ to bring our staff the very best professional benefits.

You will:

  • Be flexible as exams run throughout the year
  • Be highly organised and have the ability to manage time well
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
  • Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Have commitment and desire to develop students as individuals
  • Have a passion for ensuring all students achieve their potential
  • Show compassion and empathy to the needs of different learners
  • Share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves to the best of their ability
  • Ensure students are safeguarded at all times

Closing date: Friday 15th November 2024 at 09.00am

Interview date: w/c Monday 18th November 2024

The Trust and school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with DfE requirements.
