TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information to make travel easier for everyone. We deliver high-profile, large-scale transport projects, and it’s our experts who provide the information and analysis to shape transport strategy. This is a busy and exciting time for us: under the devolution agreement and with Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in supporting growth and prosperity in the UK’s largest regional economy outside London.

We are seeking a Support Officer to join our IS team. This role will support a busy function by providing administration support, co-ordinating meetings with internal and external partners and will support with efficient functional reporting.

You will be an excellent communicator and problem solver, highly organised, thorough and enthusiastic, with demonstrable experience of managing varied workloads and conflicting priorities You will have experience of delivering administrative support including diary management, using multiple software applications, setting up and maintaining administrative systems including finance, contacts and project databases; successfully organising events; and preparing reports, often to tight deadlines. It is essential you can work well in a team structure and you are able to facilitate activities across a diverse range of people within and outside the organisation.

The salary for this role is £21,214- £22,947 per annum salary on appointment will be dependant on your skills and experience. In return, as well as a competitive salary, we also offer a range of fantastic benefits, such as:
