Teaching Assistant 

Permanent, Part Time (28 hours per week)

Term Time + 1 week (39 weeks)

Salary: Support Scale D £12,679 - £12,933 pro rata per annum (£19,650 - £20,043 Full Time Equivalent)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our committed and hardworking team at Wayland Academy, supporting our students to achieve their full potential. 

You will be an enthusiastic and inspiring practitioner with recent experience of working in a secondary education setting and in one to one situations. You will be passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, and keen to contribute to the school’s visions and values. You will be motivated to enable access to learning for pupils, including specialised support for those with special education needs. 

Wayland Academy is an oversubscribed Secondary school in the heart of Norfolk with a positive atmosphere and low staff turnover. Staff at Wayland Academy have a belief in every student's entitlement to the highest quality of education and ability to achieve and learn.
