Building Control Surveyor / Senior Building Control Surveyor

R&R Package up to £6000 per annum 

Salary  £29,096 - £40,071 per annum (2% pay award pending from 1 April 2019) 

37 hours per week

We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic Surveyor/ Senior Surveyor who is committed to working in a constantly evolving department. 

Chiltern and South Bucks Building Control is a forward-looking, ever-developing service. You should also be committed to delivering first-class customer service in a competitive environment.

Our well established joint Building Control Team serves both Chiltern and South Bucks District Councils and Surveyors will be expected to cover both areas.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, along with the ability and confidence to provide (or be trained to provide) advice and guidance to customers and build good working relationships with agents, architects and builders.  As we have fully electronic application and plan-checking processes good IT skills are necessary.

You must have corporate membership of RICS, CABE or CIOB or be actively working towards a professional qualifications with experience in all aspects of building control work. A full driving licence is also required.

Our team is split between  our Amersham office and our Capswood office however you will be able to work from either Council offices and from home.
