The Pinetree School is a special school for students aged 11-16 who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many of our students have had to overcome significant difficulties in their lives and have struggled to succeed in other educational establishments.

It can be challenging at times and working here isn’t for everyone. With a supportive staff team, the opportunity to effect real change and witness rapid progress is significant and often rewarding

We are amazed every day by what our students are capable of and are very proud of the difference we can make to so many young people

We are seeking a Teacher / Instructor. The teaching is largely undertaken in small groups and the role includes pastoral (tutor) responsibilities. A particular interest in teaching Science would be advantageous

Suitable candidates will be able to work well under their own initiative and have high levels of resilience, excellent ICT and administrative skills and an exemplary attendance record.

Please contact James Rice on 01842 752756 for further information.
