As Yard Operative and Forklift Operator you will provide support to technicians by directly helping with repairs and maintenance-related tasks. You will also assist with stores/yard duties and QC inspections of equipment.

Principal Accountabilities

• Forklift and mobile crane operations in yard
• Control all loading/offloading of equipment
• Ensure yard is kept clean and tidy at all time
• Drive the company truck for local deliveries and collections
• Assist Technicians with equipment movements
• General yard labouring
• To complete all Company documentation promptly and accurately
• Ensure that all returning and outgoing equipment is in good state and report any issues to QC or supervisor
• Assist with the maintenance of QC records
• Assis with PDI of all outgoing equipment

 Qualifications and Experience

• Driving license
• Forklift license
• Previous experience of goods in/goods out environment (desirable)
• Recognised Banksman / Slinging certificate (desirable)
• Good communications skills and able to plan work
• Dependability
• Honesty and integrity
• Positive, proactive attitude
